Advisory Planner — Support
Write to me directly. contact@advisoryframe.com
I answer personally, usually within two working days. Advisory Planner is developed by one person — there is no ticket system and no call centre, and your message reaches the developer.
Please tell me which device you are using (Mac or iPhone), the system version, and what you expected to happen. Please do not send client names or confidential documents.
System requirements
Advisory Planner requires macOS 26.2 or iOS 26.2 or later. If the App Store will not let you install the app, this is almost always the reason — check Settings → General → Software Update (iPhone) or System Settings → General → Software Update (Mac).
One purchase covers both platforms. If you bought the app on one device, it is available on the other at no extra cost under the same Apple Account.
Frequently asked
The app does not suggest any tasks.
Automatic task suggestions require Apple Intelligence on a compatible device. Where Apple Intelligence is unavailable, the app says so and you add your own steps instead — and it remembers them, so it offers them again for similar events later. The app is fully usable this way; only the automatic first draft is missing.
Where is my data stored? Can you see it?
Everything stays on your device. There is no server, no account and no sync to me. I cannot see your events, tasks or notes — which also means I cannot recover them for you. Please keep a device backup.
How do I get my existing appointments in?
Either turn on Apple Calendar access in the settings, or import a calendar file (.ics) that you exported from another program. Both run entirely on your device.
How do I get data out again?
The export writes your events and completed tasks to a CSV file, which opens in Numbers, Excel or any spreadsheet. Once the file is saved it is outside the app's protection — please consider where you put it if the entries concern clients.
How do I delete everything?
Deleting the app removes all of its data from the device. There is nothing stored anywhere else.
Is there a subscription?
No. The app is bought once. There is no subscription, no recurring charge and no in-app purchase, and no feature is held back behind an extra payment. Refunds and family sharing are handled by Apple, not by me.
I have an idea for the next version.
Please send it. Most of what the app does came from exactly such messages, and a short description of your actual working day is more useful to me than a feature name.
